Panic Attacks during new situations
Hi, I am 27 & I have been observing that almost all the times when i face an entirely new situation i start panicking which is unavoidable, it started almost 1.5 years ago i was trying to avoid and avoided in most of the situations but now it is getting worse. I am also a hypo thyroid patient. I am not sure which specialist i need to consult. Please suggest

Hi. Panic attacks in new situations are suggestive of underlying apprehension to face situations. You should consult a psychiatrist and get yours treatment initiated. Anxiety and panic attacks are treatable with medications and cognitive behavioural therapy.
