Palpitations after surgery
I had abdominal laparoscopic surgery 1 month back, and palpitations started about 1 week after the surgery. I got ECG and Echo done — everything is normal. I also have GERD and nighttime reflux. Have noticed GERD is improving but not much improvement in palpitations. Before surgery also I had same issue but post surgery for a week I didn't notice. Has anyone had palpitations after surgery with normal heart tests? Can GERD/reflux or gas trigger palpitations or arm ache via vagus nerve? Did correcting deficiencies (vitamin D, B12, etc.) help? This is making me insane now. It is tough. Would really appreciate help.

Surgeries don't trigger palpitations The cause might be entirely different U need to check thyroid function test, cbc, lft, rft Reflux can trigger chest pain but classical like that of myocardial infarction is unlikely Try keeping the bed end elevated whole sleeping
