Whenever I wash my hands with water the skin on the palm surface starts peeling off in small bits. It becomes wrinkled. This has been happening since last 3 weeks.

It could be a normal sign. Skin contains sebum and coz of prolonged water contact it can get washed out . Then, the water can penetrate the outer layer of your skin. This causes your skin to become waterlogged. Wrinkly fingers could be an autonomic nervous system reaction because it's easier to pick up wet objects with wrinkly fingers. Wrinkles on your fingers may give you more grip, kind of like treads on a car tire.keep the hand well hydrated. If there is peeling and itching then Contact irritant dermatitis could also be a condition. Consult a Dermatologist for the same.
Overuse of sanitizers and khandwa shing has caused this.. this is called hand eczema or dermatitis.. some precautions are: use PH friendly soaps.. do not over wash or overuse the sanitizers.. immediately after washing apply moisturizer or plain coconut oil helps. If still it doesn't get better, consult a dermatologist
