Painless mouth ulcer

Asked for Male, 24 Years

I have one prominent ulcer in my throat since May 25,2020. Earlier, there was irritation however now irritation is not there but the ulcer is there. What course of treatment I should look here? In short, I have painless mouth ulcer since three weeks now. Kindly suggest what should I do? I had taken medicines for GERD during mid-April 2020. During this time, there were many mouth ulcers which fortunately recovered. But this one mouth ulcer is really prominent.

You have not mentioned the site and size of ulcer in your throat. A picture of the ulcer would have been helpful. In most instances ulcers in mouth heal in 2-3 weeks.

Next Steps

If the ulcer is persistent it needs to be examined by a doctor. I.e your physician or a ENT Doctor.
