I have got painful swelling around my lower ear . local doctor said viral infection (malli) last 8 days no major effect of medicine . still swelled and paining. Pain triggers while eating. Few months back I had got wisdom tooth extracted by small surgery Could it be coz of that. Or its viral infection. Swelling covers my ear lower part in u shape. Please suggest.

Hello,you can do salt water rinses, but this will give you temporary relief. visit a dentist and get it checked. get an X-ray done if required. if there is a infection get it treated.
