Painful skin issue
25th december it started to feel sore and there was a minor bump on the left corner of my lip. i ignored it and it got worse and it started to hurt to open my mouth and it started spreading to the area around my lip corner. then the skin got very dry and dark and i started to apply vaseline, there was a cut at the corner of my lips as well. the cut has healed and the vaseline helped with the dryness then i skipped it for a night and it got way worse. now it stings to apply vaseline and it’s very dry. the lymph node on my neck hurts to touch and also it hurt to swallow a couple of days ago but it’s subsided I'm attaching a photo. I'd be grateful for any help that I can get. Thankyou.

It is cheilosis due to a fungal infection. You should use a chapatick for the lips. It contains petroleum jelly which will help in combating dryness. You should also use gummies  which have fluconazole. This will heal as the weather improves.

It seems to be a viral infection of the skin. You should consider consulting a dermatologist/physician for proper course of antiviral medications. Not a cause of concern if treated properly. But, it’ll take sometime to subside.
