Painful lump near outer labia area
I have developed a painful lump near the outer labia, slightly below toward the anus. It has been there for about 1–2 days. There is pain while sitting and touching the area. I do not have fever and I do not see any pus yet. It looks like a boil from outside. I have not done shaving or waxing recently. Could this be a boil (furuncle) or something like a Bartholin gland issue? Do I need any antibiotic ointment or oral medication? Is warm compress enough for now?
