It could be a perianal abcess. You can take OTC analgesics and antibiotic clindamycin 300 mg 3 times daily for 5 days.If the pain is not resolved, consult a surgeon in your area

It sounds like a perianal abscess that has partially ruptured. Reduction in pain was due to pressure relief, it does not always mean the infection is resolved.
Next Steps
Because of risk of complications, it is important to see a doctor for a proper evaluation. To manage the area as of now start taking warm sitz baths for 15 to 20 minutes several times a day to drain pus and keep the site clean. After bowel movement, gently wash with water, then pat the area dry or use a clean cotton pad to absorb any discharge.
Health Tips
Immediatly visit doctor if you experience high fever, chills and if the pain returns and becomes severe
Yes, most of cases its healed by own. Its due to hair follicle stretching. If its not heal own in 2 to 3 days , and not dry then you go nearby hospital and consult with general physician or surgeon.
