I am having acute pain on my right leg. I am not able to walk or stand for more than 2 minutes from last 1 week. I had bulge on L4 and L5, took treatment for 3 months and I was good. Last month I joined TCS and after 2 weeks I started experiencing pain on my back and now my right leg is in too much pain. Anyone, please help me out here. Please suggest some exercises or treatment for my problem. My back pain is almost negligible now but my right leg is killing me.

Hi!!
i want few more clarifications.. is it pain radiating ( tingling sensation ) from ur back to legs? if so going back wards or front wards.. my hypothesis are: you are overweight. your BMI almost crossing 32. so your back, abdominal and core muscles are poor to catch up ur body weight. so when ever u strain pain reappears. If it is not radiating from back and if it is localised and u if can pin point the location of pain.. go with hot fermantion and green banana rich in potassium help out in cramps.. strech mandatory.. visit nearby physio or Orthopaedician for further diagonose.. tan q.
Next Steps
To reduce wieght by diet ASAP.
Health Tips
dnt sit more than 20 min.. go for walk for while and continue ur wrk. back and legs exercise nd stretch helps out.
AS THE HISTORY SUGGESTS, IT MAY BE YOUR DISC IS IMPINGING NERVE OR ISOLATED SYMPATHETIC NERVE ACTIVATION OF AFFECTED LEG. YOU HAVE TO CONSULT PAIN PHYSICIAN FOR PROPER DIAGNOSISI AND TREATMENT.
TILL NOW YOU SHOULD STOP DOING EXERCISE.
Next Steps
START MEDICINE AFTER CONSULTING PAIN PHYSICIAN AND IF IT FAILS, NERVE BLOCK WILL HELP.
Hello,
It looks like you have aggravated your disc lesion after joining TCS (sitting job).
You must take couple of weeks break from work, Avoid sitting for long hours.
Do's
1. Bed rest (1 week only)
2. Lying on your tummy (most of the time in a day)
3. Periodical McKenzie press ups if pain free
4.. Lumbar corset/brace when ever you are sitting/walking
5. Consult a physiotherapist for Mechanical traction and neural mobilization (if indicated).
Next Steps
If your pain is not subsiding even after this maximum protection phase interventions you must repeat a MRI to find out the severity and extend of damage in lumbar discs.
Health Tips
Its a neural tissue involved pain. it will take 4 weeks to be pain free for sure. be patient and take care.
Hello sir,
I feel your leg muscles should be tight too and as you have a desk job I want you to take care of ur postures, good ergonomics..
Stress, water intake, posture, all play very important role.
Next Steps
I want you to go for good stretching for your legs, sleep on your side and bend your knee to chest hold for 20secs that should also help you.
Health Tips
Avoid heavy wt lifting, continuous sitting for more then 20mins, continuous standing, start walking gradually
Show it to your nearby physio.
Hello there...... If you have leg pain from cramps or overuse, take these steps first:
Rest as much as possible.Elevate your leg....Apply ice for up to 15 minutes. Do this 4 times per day, more often for the first few days....Gently stretch and massage cramping muscles....Take over-the-counter pain medicines....
Other treatment options will depend on the cause of your leg pain..... Consult Orthopedician.....
