Pain on left ribs below the chest

Asked for Female, 23 Years

My wife is having severe pain on ribs area below the left chest. There is no swellings. Pain is more during breating and coughing. Can you please tell the possible reasons behind pain.

First get done x Ray to know abt any congestion in chest. Along with this take steam before sleeping. Also use capsule carbol plus in steam. Do deep breathing exercises twice a day. Do Hot Fomentation on Pain area
