I went to a dentist due to an issue of tooth hypersensitivity. My particular tooth didn't react abnormaly to stimuli like hot cold or surgery food but only took little attention while bitting down hard solid food in a particular position.my dentist detect it as cavity and treated with composite filling. After that filling adjustment is done due to bitting issue. But ti is now 3 days passed but i feel pain & sensitivity during chewing food in that position. My question is how does long it sustain? & Why my pain sensitivity increases after filling?

If there's still sensation and pain in the tooth which was filled by composite filling
Now you have to get root canal treatment done of that tooth as the caries would be near to the nerve of the tooth which is causing the symptoms
Next Steps
root canal treatment
Health Tips
get your composite filling removed first and then check if the symptoms still persist

Sometimes there could be an extension of the dental caries towards the inner part of tooth , Xray has it's limitations as it is a 2D way of diagnosing. Clinically if your tooth is showing signs of discomfort there could be involvement of pulp but it needs to be checked clinically.
Next Steps
if it does not settle get another Xray done and revisit the dentist.
Hello sir,
One x- ray(rvg) will be needed for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
Have to check trauma from occlusion, high points and whether caries were approaching the pulp and needed root canal treatment. So clinical and x ray evaluation is a must.
