Pain in Urinary area ,Fever after Cather
Hi Doc My Father have BPH so has to cure doctors suggested to surgery the Prostate . He has done cystoscopy . After Cystoscopy done they have put Cathersiation ,while removing Cathersiation bleeding came He is in home now but he getting fever continuously and some prickling pain underneth Dr has given some medicine for this condition Is it normal getting continuous fever Is he got septic in urethra area        Best Regards

Seems to be UTI HE SHOULD BE taken up for injectable antibiotics if the problem persists Anyways if he is advised surgery why has the catheter being removed What’s his PSA urine culture and ultrasound report

He probably has developed some urinary infection. A urine routine and culture shoukd be done. He might require the catheter again in case your urologist feels that the bladder is not getting empty.
