In constant pain in the throat for a long term we have to rule out infection from other sites, most commonly the nose and the esophagus. So if you have any cold and nasal obstruction then get checked for sinusitis. If not and there is a history for heartburn and belching, especially in today's sedentary world, then acid reflux could be a cause. Take treatment regarding the one you feel is the issue among the two.
Next Steps
Acidity is more of a lifestyle issue. So rather than medication proper diet and exercise and habits is more helpful. Avoid spicy and oily foods. Avoid large meals at night tym. Avoid excessive tea and coffee. And preferably stay erect (sitting ot standing) after eating. This helps in reducing most of your acidity related symptoms.

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
