Hi. Back pain radiating to your right leg is sciatica, probably due to a disc herniation in your lumbar spine, due to your accident. Disc herniation or disc prolapse causes nerve compression which results in pain, tingling or numbness radiating down to your legs. Consult a pain physician or orthopedician to get your scans. If you're having only radiating pain, after confirming with ur lumbar spine MRI, you can start treatment - life style changes, physical therapy, medicines and selective nerve root injections.
Next Steps
Consult a pain physician / orthopedician. You will require an evaluation and a lumbar spine - x ray and MRI. We can decide after looking at your scans.
Health Tips
Avoid lifting heavy weights, strenuous activity and long distance jerky travel till this is sorted out.
