Pain in perianal abscess scar tissue
I had a perianal abscess drainage surgery in June. I then had a fistuletomy with internal lateral sphincterotomy. The fistuletomy wound is healing slowly and is not very painful, but the scar tissue formed from perianal abscess surgery is still painful occasionally. A week back, I visited my doctor, who examined and confirmed everything is normal and there is no infection. But this pain in the scar tissue is affecting me a lot.  1 day there is no pain and another day, it's painful. Is this normal?
