Pain in palm and fingers
Dear Sir/ Madam, My mother has been experiencing pain in her fingers and palm since a couple of weeks now. Even after a couple of visits to a GP and some pain killers, the pain hasn't subsided. I would be highly obliged if I could know what could be possibly the reason for the pain and which doctor (orthopaedic, rheumatologist, etc. ) should I take her for an examination? Thanking you in advance.

Does the pain is in all the fingers or in thumb and radial 2 fingers. It could be a median nerve compression. If pain is in whole palm and hand then you must look for any inflammatory pathology. Any hand surgeon near you will help.
