Hi. I am having acute pain in my neck from past one week. It's now extending to my upper back. I DONT feel giddy at all.
My physiotherapist told it could be spondylitis.
How to be sure of it? X-RAY? Or should I trust the physiotherapist blindly?

Neck pain could be origenated from cervical bones/muscles, neck and shoulder muscles, upper back muscles, abnormal spinal curvetures, overall poor body posture.
A well qualified physiotherapist can identify the cause of pain.
X rays and MRIs will b suggested by physiotherapist and orthopeadics if needed.
