Pain in my finger

I have had pain in my middle finger on my right hand since yesterday. It is at the tip of my finger, at the nail; at the top and on the sides as well. It doesn't feel like something small, but hurts a lot, especially when it is touched at all, especially if it is a heavy touch. It looks fine and you can't tell there is anything wrong with it. But it is in such pain. What can I do?
