Pain in left foot between ankle and arch
Searing pain in left foot between the ankle and arch area . Pain is not continuous but suddenly starts and then stays for sometime . Relief comes only if i immerse the foot in hot water. The problem has been there for 8/10 days.

It could be due to calcaneal spur (bone growth on heel), it is very common. Kindly wear soft footwear throughout the day. Use alternate therapy of hot and cold water immersion. Also before getting up from bed or after sitting for long time, do some ankle movements and then only get up. If it persists visit a physiotherapist for ultrasound treatment.
