Pain in injection site
Hello doctor.. I have taken a Dynapar IM injection in my buttocks for back pain 14 days ago.. back pain is cured but In injection site till now pain is there and the place is little hard. When I touch the place is hard and paining.. Except this i don't have any other problem.. is this normal or anything happening?

Hi, regarding your concern for a painful swelling after an intra muscular injection.
It is usual to have mild swelling at the injection site during the initial days but if the swelling persists for more than one week and associated with any painful,swelling or redness in the site should be checked out. Please consult for further evaluation.
