Pain in ear

Asked for Female, 39 Years

My husband has been diagonsed with corona on 1st mar.From last 2 days he is having pain in his right ear.His nose is blocked and so he keeps on spitting cough through mouth and because of that his ear pain has started.Whenever he yawns or burps his pain increases.I am giving him ciplox ear drop .He feels relaxed after that drop and he sleeps after that.Is this drop ok or shall i give him some other drop.His oxygen is 99 and he has no fever.

According to your history that patient is having nose block & ear pain increases on burping/yawning it seems that your husband is having Eustachian Tube Block. Try putting Otrivin Nasal drops three times a day and follow up with steam inhalation. Continue this for only 5-7 days. Final diagnosis and other treatment can be suggested only after proper consultation.
