Pain in center of chest line

Asked for Female, 29 Years

She initially had cough and now she feels some pain in chest occasionally. Doctor had given her some medication and if she still feels the same then endoscopy will be done. Should we go to the doctor again? What can be the cause of this problem?

She may be suffering from reflux oesophagitis which is common cause for cough and chest pain. Upper gastro intestinal endoscopy us necessary to confirm the diagnosis. Once diagnosis is confirmed treatment can be planned
