Pain in bladder and urethra
I have been having pain in my urethra since the last 15 months. This pain comes up after I have any fluids and my bladder starts filling up. The pain radiates into the urethra and I go to the washroom when I can't bear the sharp pain. After voiding, the pain reduces till the time the bladder starts filling again. Even when my bladder is empty, there is some sensitivity in that region. Medicines don't seem to be working so far. I got a BNI done about 10 months back, post the operation, the pain was not there for a couple of days, then it resurfaced after hospital discharge. The pain has reduced my quality of life drastically. Please help me with some solution.

It's called bladder pain syndrome....best is not to allow your bladder fill too much...opt for frequent voluntary emptying of bladder. Your bladder neck is sensitive.. You can try Pyridium tablets it works well
