Greetings,  sorry about the pain. Description of the physio treatment given has not been mentioned. Any x ray taken? Pain is mainly due to muscles are tight and poor scapula stability.  Meaning muscle weakness at neck, scapula and overuse of certain muscles as well   there is forward head posture which is causing this problem.
Next Steps
continue physio for at least a month and get to see a physio specialised in trigger point therapy and posture correction.  you can use a cervical collar if needed or if advised by physio.
Health Tips
not to be worried in searching for which doctor to see, solution ends with physio.
