Pain during urinating

Asked for Female, 57 Years

My mother is having slight burning sensation while urinating. She had a very minor kidney stone but was cured with medicine. Now I don't know if I should consult a gynecologist or a urologists. Please suggests.

Females are prone to get urinary infection. You need to get a urine culture and USG abdomen. Then she can start on antibiotics. Culture report will be out in 2 days. Then antibiotics can be changed. Depending on scan result the stone management can be decided. She should take adequate fluids. This will help to control infection and stone problem
