Pain at the left side of upper chest
1.5 month earlier my mother was diagnosed and admitted to a hospital for bilateral pleural effusion and pericardial effusion , she is been having cardiomegaly and low ejection fraction , now sometimes she complains of pain on the left side of her upper chest and sometimes lower chest, she also complains of pain on her right shoulder , her spo2 sometimes shows 94-95 and sometimes shows 88-89 , she is not having any breathing issue right now but is having cough .  plz suggest me what to do

Kindly take her to hospital immediately as possible. Cough can be due to many reasons. Covid or non covid related also. But since she is having pulmonary  (lung ) and cardiac complications, it is best to take her to hospital and get checked immediately.

Get HRCT chest done immediately and give sample for RTPCR too. If the oxygen level is dropping get her admitted in the hospital for further management.
