If your pain has been investigated and reports are normal, then it's most likely a somatic pain. For treatment, many things need to be clarified first.

If you're experiencing severe stomach pain that has been ongoing for years and medical tests have not identified any physical cause, it's possible that the pain could be related to psychological factors, such as stress, anxiety, or past experiences. Here are a few possibilities to consider and discuss with a healthcare professional: Psychosomatic Symptoms: Sometimes, emotional and psychological factors can manifest as physical symptoms. The mind-body connection is complex, and stress, anxiety, or unresolved emotional issues could potentially contribute to stomach pain. Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders: There are conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) that can cause symptoms like stomach pain, bloating, and changes in bowel habits. These conditions can be triggered or exacerbated by stress and emotions. Post-Traumatic Stress: You mentioned having had major depressive disorder (MDD). Sometimes, past traumatic experiences, including emotional trauma, can manifest physically as pain. This is often referred to as somatic symptom disorder. Hypersensitivity: Your body's response to pain might be heightened due to psychological factors. This can lead to experiencing pain more intensely than others would in similar situations. Mind-Body Therapies: Consider exploring mind-body therapies like mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation techniques. These practices can help manage pain by addressing the psychological component.

This can be somatic pain ( pain associated with depression/anxiety) if all other reports were normal. There are treatment and therapy options. With good results. Please consult with detailed history. That would help.
