Padeatrics
My 16 month baby is having upper incisors teeth are slight yellowish since inception. Our padeatric Dr. suggested to give Calshell syrup twice a day for three months. Now its already 6 months and that yellowish still retains. What is the cause for this and how to overcome this issue?

There is no need to worry about the color of the deciduous dentition as long as they are not decayed . Early decay will be a white spot and later can turn brown. pediatricians now a days prescribe VIt D supplements as most of the infants don't get sun light exposure . No treatment is necessary as these will shed around 7-8 yrs of age . If you are still bothered then consult a pedodontist for a strip crown which can be done after 4 yrs of age as the child may not cooperate now.
