P250mg for 2 years baby.
Hello Doctor. My daughter have sudden fever . She is 10kg and 2 years old. We gave p250mg /5ml at 5pm , 9pm . Her fever not reduced at midnight. So we gave at 5ml at 2am too . I fear of is it over dose ? Please help me.

5ml is not the correct dose. Correct dose is 3ml every 6th hourly if fever is above 100F If fever is below 100, wait to administer P-250. Paracetamol is a safe medicine, so funny worry about overdose

P250/5ml syrup for a 10 kg child , dose is 3 ml only. Although 2 doses of 5 ml would not have toxic effects, it is still more than recommended. No need to worry right now about overdosing or toxic effects, but be careful in future.
Next Steps
3 ml needs to be repeated every 4-6 hrs of fever is more than 100 F . Consult for finding out the cause of the fever May need additional medicines/tests
