Over 1000mg of Paracetamol
I went to the physio today for back pain and having had treatment the pain was too much and since I felt slightly feverish I took 2 tablets of 500mg of paracetamol at around 18:30pm. The physio has given me a muscle relaxant as well which contains 325mg of paracetamol which I have taken at around 21:00pm. Is this something to worry about as I have taken more than 1000mg of paracetamol at one time and not spaced within a 6 hour window?

You took 1000 mg at 6:30 pm and 325 mg at 9 pm. This is SAFE and well within daily limits. Toxicity occurs when >4000 mg/day or very high single doses are taken. No treatment required Next dose of paracetamol only after 8 hours or more. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Seek help only if vomiting, severe abdominal pain, or yellowing of eyes occurs (unlikely here).

It’s not ideal but should be fine. Avoid taking tablets without consulting the doctor first. In case of fever/fever like illness, one tablet will suffice Do not consume two tablets without consulting
