Dear Friend,
From the limited information provided by you, it seems that you have got external otitis or perichondritis.
I am not clear about what you meant by outer ear. If the infection you are mentioning is in the ear canal, then it is external otitis, which requires antibiotic, ear packing and drops.
But if you were mentioning about the pinnae or auricle, then there is high chance that it may be perichondritis. In that case you may need emergency intervention, sometimes hospitalization and IV antibiotics.
Next Steps
so consult an otolaryngologist immediately.
Health Tips
both these conditions need direct intervention from a doctor
