Osmf with white blanching buccal mucosa.
Hello Dr.                                                                                        I have OSMF. My mouth opening is 40 mm and I don't have any problem even with spicy food, but I have white blanching on both buccal mucosa. I have taken antioxidants for 3 months as prescribed by the doctor. Should I continue the treatment further?

Hello, if you have a problem with opening your mouth due to fibrosis, certain intralesional injections are prescribed to help with your mouth opening. If your concern is just discolouration of oral mucosa and you do nat have any symptoms you may stop taking antioxidants
Next Steps
Watch out for any changes or lesions in oral cavity Stop substance abuse if any
