I underwent surgery for deviated septum 3 days back. Surgery went fine and there is minimal blood / pain. However when sleeping on my back i often wakeup in the night trying to take a breathe and it is happening multiple times.(obstructive sleep apnea). Can i do anything to fix this? TIA.

Follow up with the operated surgeon
Take care steam inhalation
Put nasal decongestant drops xylometazoline 2 drops thrice daily bilateral nostril. Apply Anti Snore nose clip available on Amazon for a few days. Get a thorough oropharynx checkup. If this all doesn’t work go for Drug induced sleep endoscopy
