Depends on whether it’s a partial or a complete tear . If complete , an arthroscopic repair is indicated most of the times .

If cracking sound from the joint is the only problem and you have no pain or restriction of motion or difficulty during any movement you need not worry about it. this is not the  symptom of rotator cuff tear
