Ors for baby
Hello how much ors water should be given to babies when they are dehydrated because of loose motion and what can be given for them for lunch bf dinner kindly suggest he is 10months old baby

Hello.... If the baby is suffering with loose motions, please rule out the cause. Along with ors, u  can also give other fluids  like Buttermilk, veg stock, Coconut water etc. U can give according to her urine output that is enough. No need of perfect measurements. Give her when shez thirsty and check the color of her urine. If it is normal(pale yellow), u can give normal quantities. Avoid greens, fruits, whole wheat, rahi, jowar other millets,milk in her diet. Give bland, non irritating foods which are easily digestible. Instead of three meal pattern, follow small frequent meals along with adequate fluids. Hope it's helpful. Thanq

Hi You can give 500 to 700ml of ours.. Give food like soft khichdi,  white bread with soup. Give kheer . Some bananas.

You can give it 2-3times but if dehydration is more increase the frequency as per the guidelines. Or sugar n salt water will also work better. For further details please connect with me through practo app

make 1 ltr bottle of ors, give 50-100 ml after  every lose motion or othewise also, give simple rice and dal mix khichri, small portions 6-8 times.
