I have got braces treatment done,after that my teeths have gone yellow in colour. I contacted my dentist he asked me to do bleaching treatment but couldn't guarantee whitening of my teeth. Help me with better whitening solutions. And online I have read about using charcoal whitening, usage of baking powder, is it true ?

Proper Dental bleaching should improve your shade by atleast 2 shades. You may repeat a bleaching after a few months if you find reduction in effect of bleaching. It may be also due to part removal of enamel after braces removal. If that's the case , consider veneering and meet a Cosmetic Dentist.
