Patient is suffering from oral cancer since 4 years. Cancer was diagnosed after extraction of molar tooth on left side as the wound did not heal up. Treatment was going on in AIIMS Delhi. Condition has deteriorated from last 2 months. Despite all care and hygiene bleeding is not stopping from the mouth. Blood and dead tissues come out every other day leading to weakness and no appetite. Oral consumption of food has become difficult. The cancer is on its last stage. And the wound is enlarging leading to swelling, pain and bleeding. Lower lip has almost dissolved. Today maggots were seen on the wound. Can we go for maggots removal in a hospital? The patient stays in Gwalior and it's difficult to take him out from the city as the condition is worse. Please suggest.
