On Wysolone for 70 days +
I am on Wysolone (consulted in Gangaram hospital) for treatemtnof Iga Nephropathy. My urine protien putput was 4-6 gm per day before medication. Urine pritien creatine ratio was 3.5 before medication. Urine protien creatine ratio was 0.78 after 70 days of wysolone. Dosctor advised for another 15 days. Is it ok to take wysolone for so long?

What dose of wysolone are you on ? The treatment of some autoimmune problems like IgA nephropathy  is to start on steroids like wysolone. Although there are risks with steroids taken  for long period of time,  if it is needed for treatment it cannot be avoided. Do not stop the wysolone suddenly.
