On oxygen support from one month
Oxygen level is 90+ on 2L.But when he sit or do any activity it goes to 55. Due to corona his CT score was 14/24 on 7 may 2021. And remedsiver injection has been given and he is recovery from corona but when oxygen support is removed he is having trouble in breathing. It has been one month when has been tested positive covid but still on oxygen support.Kindly let me know what is the exact issue he is facing. Still in hospital And on 28 may 2021 he had CT scan and score is 21/24. Pls advise on this

He has most likely developed post COVID fibrosis which will recover gradually over the weeks. You can consider discharging him with home Oxyzen if there is no other signs and symptoms of superadded secondary infection. Talk to ur treating physician about this. He is better person to guide u about this as he is daily seeing the patient progress.

May be due to post covid fibrosis. Takes1or 2 months to resolve. Do not unnecessarily strain him.we are seeing this in young people also.pl follow your treating doctor. If necessary, consult on line.
