Omega 3 ...
Hello Doctor I am.46 years old female Because of inflammation my doctor has prescribed omega 3 capsules But I have high pitta and this is causing slightly heavier bleeding Have to buy a vegetarian omega3 supplement but all the available brands have Flax seed as the main ingredient that aggravates pitta because of its hot nature What alternative can I take as a vegetarian non heaty omega 3 supplement ..Only non inflammatory food items are not sufficient ..need to take this atleast for 3 months Kindly suggest Thanks

Hello mam, You can try a vegetarian Omega3 capsule - algal oil. Algal oil is extracted from microalgae (tiny aquatic plants) & is rich in DHA. It is suitable for patients with high Pitta.
