Sir
Tanu felt pain in stomach and urine passage was not normal. On diagnosis, infection in left kidney and urinary passage (pelvis junction) obstruction was told by doctor. Fever is on and off with regular headache. Current doctor has suggested ureteroscopy and then pyeloplasty. We are seeking second opinion and then will take a call on taking the treatment. Further is this treatment long lasting and effective for future. ? She is anaemic and hypothyroid too.

I Presume the diagnosis is Pelviureteric Junction Obstruction. She will need a Pyeloplasty if Isotope renogram shows obstruction. Meet another Urologist with all the requisite scans and take a consult. Treatment is surgery and if done in expert hands should last the life time.
