Fluoxetine can cause insomnia and difficulty in sleep therefore given in morning. It’s preferred time for fluoxetine. Along with medication try therapy for ocd too you will get more benefits.

Morning or afternoon is the best time, it’s an activating molecule and thus preferable in daytime dosing, no absolute contradiction mentioned anywhere for taking it at night, but may cause sleep disturbances. If so, avoid taking at night. Word of caution: it is known to cause gastric issues, should not be taken empty stomach, consume it after heavy breakfast or lunch preferably.
