It seems that she might be undergoing depression like symptoms. It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated. It can be treated well with counseling sessions and homeopathic medicine effectively. It needs to be treated in a holistic approach for complete recovery. You need an expert psychologist who is a good homeopathic physician.

It’s thoughtful of you to notice your wife’s lack of interest and want to support her. A loss of interest in activities, life, or even relationships can sometimes indicate emotional exhaustion, stress, or deeper struggles like depression. Counseling can be a safe space for her to explore what she’s feeling, understand the root cause, and find ways to regain a sense of purpose and engagement.
Next Steps
Encourage open conversation – Instead of assuming solutions, ask her how she’s been feeling. Avoid making her feel ‘broken’ – Frame therapy as self-care, not a 'fix.' Offer to support her journey – Let her know you’re in this together.
Health Tips
Gently ask if she would be open to counseling as a way to explore her feelings. Encourage small, enjoyable activities together to reignite interest in life. If she’s resistant, consider going for a session yourself to learn how to best support her.

It's good that you want to support your wife. Losing interest in life can be a sigh of stress, sadness, or something deeper. Counselling can definetly help her understand what she is feeling and find ways to feel better.
Next Steps
The first step is to encourage her to talk to someone, please be mindful of not pressurizing her into it. Let it be an open conversation.
Health Tips
Please be patient with her. Talk but also listen to her point of view. And most importantly take care of yourself too, supporting someone can sometimes be hard. Make sure you have some support as well :))

Hi Thanks for reaching out. How long has it been since your wife has not shown interest in anything? Your wife could be feeling upset and anxious. It is important to know what is making her not be interested in anything. Has she lost interest in activities she once enjoyed. You can talk to your wife and ask her what is bothering her. You can convince her for counselling sessions. I understand you are worried about your wife. Take care of yourself and try to maintain a positive atmosphere at home. If you have noticed a change in behaviour where your wife is no longer interested in doing activities she once enjoyed you can convince her for counselling sessions. If she is not willing to do sessions you can consult a psychologist and talk about what she might be going through.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist

I understand how concerning this must be for you. It can be difficult to see a loved one lose interest in things they once enjoyed. Counseling can definitely help, as it provides a safe space for your wife to explore her emotions, understand any underlying challenges, and find ways to reconnect with herself. A therapist can support her in identifying what might be causing this disinterest and guide her toward feeling better. Your care and concern are already a great first step in helping her through this.
Next Steps
Encourage her gently to consider speaking with a professional, reassuring her that she’s not alone. You might also try having an open conversation with her about how she’s feeling, without pressuring her. If she’s unsure, even an initial consultation with a therapist could be helpful.
Health Tips
It’s important to approach this with patience and understanding. Avoid pushing her into counseling if she’s not ready—sometimes, small steps like engaging in meaningful conversations, spending quality time together, or supporting her in daily activities can make a big difference. If her feelings persist or worsen, seeking professional help sooner is advisable.

Hi, Counseling can be a valuable resource for individuals who may be struggling with a lack of interest or motivation in their lives. A trained counselor can provide a safe and supportive environment for your wife to explore her feelings, identify any underlying issues, and develop coping strategies. Through therapy, she may gain a clearer understanding of her emotions and experiences, which can lead to positive changes in her outlook and engagement with life. Additionally, counseling can help her build skills for managing stress and improving self-esteem, ultimately fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Encouraging her to seek professional help can be a significant step toward her well-being and personal growth.

To begin with, please consult an experienced psychologist all by yourself and discuss the issues with him/her in detail. This will give you a clearer picture on what needs to be done. It will be easier for you to deal with your situation once you have clarity on the matter, which the psychologist will be able to provide.
Next Steps
Please consult a psychologist.

Hi... Yes, Counselling does help. But she has to be willing to take it. It doesn't work when it is forced upon externally. Psychotherapy/ counselling is meant to correct ourselves and not others. You can take guidance from a therapist/counsellor on how to approach her on this, but the willingness has to come from within. No counsellor can help a person who is not willing to open up or doesn't have a faith in the treatment methodology.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. Guidance and Counselling is required.
