Not getting sleep for 2 days
Hi, My wife is a home maker aged 30. Rarely she gets sleeping problem. I.e. she is not going into sleep and even if she start sleeping, in short duration she gets awaken. She did not get sleep for continuous 2 days. Because of non sleept she gets tired during the day, but still not getting the sleep. Can anyone suggest what we should do ? 1 years back same issue came and when we went for doxtor, he told that it's mind issue and gave sleeping tablet for only one day. He asked to not think anything during g sleep. but my wife says she doe not think anything. Normally she sleeps well, suddenly for 2 to 3 days she getting this problem, aftr an year.

Please ask her to maintain good sleep hygiene. 1.Set and maintain regular sleep and wake up time 2.Avoid afternoon naps. 3.Avoid drinking tea /coffee close to bedtime. 4.Exercise 20-30 minutes a day 5.A warm bath , reading ( not digital media), soft music helps. 6.Keep bedroom comfortable and dark while sleeping Avoid excessive time in bed.
