My father in law is a heart patient( has had bypass surgery). Along with that he had piles tecently and got treated. Since a month he has been visiting a homeopathic doctor as he had swelling in his feet and breathlessness. Thought the swelling has gone and the same for brethlessnes but now he does not feel hungry and the food he eats he says he does not get any taste.
Could you please suggest what the problem is??

Generally after surgery there is a lot of blood loss and thus mineral deficiencies also occur. He may be having zinc and magnesium deficiency and with age taste decreases because of less saliva production. I would suggest that he should take a balanced diet and with this I would suggest foods which increase saliva production like beans, sprouts etc.
