No taste or smell
I got covid positive on 4th may 2021, i was home isolated but in 7th may 2021 my wife had body pain and no fever with no taste or smell. When checked for swab test on 11th may she got negative but till now no taste or smell. What could be the reason. Reply please

This can be due to covid,  of course report is negative . Today is 23 days after arising symptom  .some time in some patient , smell & taste take time ,  1 month or more to get resolve.
Next Steps
give multivitamin  & zinc tab,  vitamin C once daily for 1 month.

Hi, this can be due to nasal congestion because of already existing cold or allergy to dust or pollen grains.

Test may be false negative taste and smell may take upto a month to restore try olfactory training
