Hi, Based on your symptoms and lot of tests it seems he is under stress. It could be both anxiety and depression. First he needs to be explained in detail about his diagnosis, management options and expected outcomes prognosis. He must be taken into confidence in all his treatment decisions. Proper counselling may help. Then some effects of medicine may also cause reduced appetite and lack of sleep. That also needs to be assessed.
