No periods after delivery
It's been 14 months of my delivery. I m still breastfeeding my baby. Bt my periods haven't come yet  It's an emergency c section. Do I need to get any hormonal test done or I can wait for some time.

Get your urine pregnancy test. If it is negative then you should consult a Gynaecologist for an intrauterine device. The main point in your case is that you should not become pregnant and you should continue your Iron and Calcium supplements.

Hello Post delivery(c-section) it's quite normal to not to have periods for 14-18 months in few people when they are adequately breastfeeding, it's called prolonged lactation amenorrhea, on am average menses do occur within 4-6 months of delivery if adequately breastfeeding.
Next Steps
stop breast feeding get a urine pregnancy test done if UPT is negative, go for pregesterone withdrawal bleeding

This is called lactational amenorrhea That is absence of periods because of hormonal disbalance because of breastfeeding You can wait if the pregnancy test is negative

Hello Dear , I hope you are enjoying your motherhood . Periods are naturally delayed when your a breast feeding . It is in fact a sign of adequate feeding . Just make sure you are using adequate contraceptive measures as pregnancy is possible even without resumption of periods. Since your baby is now well over 6 months , you may consider gradually reducing your breast feeding and introducing other foods so that your periods slowly come back to normal .
