No breast milk what to do

Asked for Female, 22 Years

My baby is 6 month old ..I don't have breast milk ..I tried alot to increase breast milk I can't ..my baby is on formula feed ..can I give formula milk 2hrs once /80 ml for whole day and daily ..is there any problem by giving only formula milk for baby ? And also i started wheat apple cerelac twice per day

Continue formula milk as per demand. Start home made freshly prepared semi-solid food and gradually increase the quantity and frequency. Cow's milk to be avoided till one year, however you can use cow's milk for food preparation.

Please avoid packaged food like cerelac. They are not as beneficial as home cooked fresh food. Give khichdi, mashed potato, sheera, upma, idli, fruits, mix green vegetables in dal rice. Type baby food recipes 6 months india in google and you will get many options. Websites like Tarla dalal give many recipes. Formula can cause digestion problems and contains chemicals like preservatives etc. Better to give fresh foods. Decrease amount of formula slowly.
