Nexito 5 mg
Hi I am prescribed to take nexito 5 mg for treating my general anxiety and for the lack of love for myself. I have been taking therapy for past few months and I have improved a bit but not able to change my mindset of hating myself and anxiety . Is it ok to take Nexito 5 mg ? What are the advantages of it ? What would be the long and short term side affects of the medicine ? For how long would I have to take this medicine ? Can we manage general anxiety and depression without medication ?

Most probably the strength is on lower side Your Consultant will do the needful, in case you tell him. Finally anxiety disorders have an underlying base of an anxious personality. Requires a lot more than medicines alone. As mentioned above.

Hi One can take medicines for general anxiety for one month to three months, then they can take a break & if anxiety reappears, again they can start therapy, so treatment for anxiety is never permanent, it's off and on. Usually for anxiety we prefer a low dose of medicine so you need not expect side effects.
Next Steps
join gym, aerobics, swimming, practice mindfulness, reduced caffeinated drinks, no smoke & no drinks, these things will help you if you want to be free from anxiety with out medicines ( life style modifications)
Health Tips
no harm in taking medicine off and on. thank you.

5 mg is too low a dose for your problem...Take at least 10 mg .. Secondly, once symptoms are under control with medicine, psychotherapy will help a lot..
Next Steps
increase dosage of medicine
Health Tips
Be cautious against gastric upset and weight gain
